Objective to study clinical manifestations of neurocognitive disorder with Lewy bodies patients (NCDLB).

Materials and Methods: This was a prospective study of patients at memory and psychiatric clinic, Ramathibodi Hospital from march 2014 to February 2016. All questionnaires were in Thai language including, Mini-Mental Status Wxamination (MMSE-Thai). Neuropsychiatric Inventory (NPI-O), common psychotic symptoms in Dementia with Lewy bodies questionnaire, Parkinson's disease screening questionnaire and Mayo sleep questionnaire-modified version.

Results: There were 24 patients who met the criteria diagnosis of NCDLB. Average age was 72. Average education was high school level. Eight were mild and 16 were major NCDLB. Magority of patients with mild NCDLB presented with behavioral and psychological symptoms (BPSD), while patients with major NCDLB presented with both memory complaints and BPSD proportionately. Common BPSD in mild NCDLB were irritable, anxiety, depression, apathy and capgras delusion. Common BPSD in major NCDLB were delusion, irritable, hallucination and sleeping problem.

Conclusion: Patients with mild NCDLB presented with BPSD more than memory problems while patients with major NCDLB had proportionately BPSD and memory complaints. These symptoms were different from Alzheimer disease patients.
